Chang Choi is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Gachon University, Seongnam, Korea, Since 2020. He received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Chosun University in 2005, 2007, and 2012, respectively. he was a research professor at the same university. He was awarded the academic awards from the graduate school of Chosun University in 2012. He has authored more than 50 publications, including articles in prestigious journal/conferences, such as the IEEE Communications Magazine, the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, the IEEE Transactions on Sustainable computing, the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Information Sciences, and Future Generation Computer Systems and so on. His research interests include intelligent information processing, semantic web, the smart IoT systems, and intelligent system security. He received the Korean Government Scholarship for his Ph.D. degree, in 2008. He was awarded the academic awards from the graduate school of Chosun University, in 2012. He has served or serving on the organizing or program committees of international conferences and workshops, such as ACM RACS, EAI BDTA, IE, ACM SAC, and the IEEE CCNC/SeCHID. He has also served as a Editor for high-prole journals, such as the IEEE Access, Sensors, Journal of Internet Technology, Sensors, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Future Generation Computer Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Multimedia Tools and Applications, the Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, and Autosoft. He is a senior member of the IEEE.
